Radical transparency
Route quality, incident history and margin structure are visible to customers by default. We would rather lose a deal on an honest number than win one on a hidden hop.
CarriersGrid was built by network operators who spent a decade on the customer side of bad telecom. We own the infrastructure, publish the numbers, and answer for both.
In 2016 our founding team was running voice for a multinational contact-centre group. Between four vendors, nobody could say with confidence which hop had degraded a call — every incident review ended with a shrug and a credit note.
So we started buying our own interconnects. First one region, then three. Today CarriersGrid runs 42 points of presence across six continents, terminating into more than 150 countries, and the operating principle has not changed: if we are going to sell a route, we should be able to see every hop on it.
That is why our dashboard exposes the same route-quality data our own engineers use, why our SLA credits are automatic rather than claim-based, and why the person who answers your escalation at 3am can actually change a routing policy rather than open a ticket with an upstream.
Founded in Houston, Texas with a single Tier-1 interconnect in Ashburn and three enterprise customers.
London and Frankfurt PoPs commissioned, opening EU data residency and DE-CIX peering for regulated clients.
Live quality scoring replaced static least-cost routing, cutting average post-dial delay across the grid by 34%.
Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney went live alongside the first public voice and verification APIs.
Monthly routed volume crossed ten billion minutes with the 99.999% platform SLA held for eleven consecutive quarters.
Latest expansion adds Bogotá, Warsaw and Mumbai edges, plus regional fraud scoring in every core cluster.
Give every enterprise the kind of voice infrastructure that used to be reserved for national carriers — without the procurement theatre, opaque routing or twelve-month lock-ins that usually come attached.
A single global grid where a call from Lagos to Lisbon is as predictable, observable and inexpensive as an API request — and where the operator can prove it rather than promise it.
No grey routes, no undisclosed transit, no quality figures we would be embarrassed to show you. If a route degrades, you will hear it from our dashboard before you hear it from your customers.
Route quality, incident history and margin structure are visible to customers by default. We would rather lose a deal on an honest number than win one on a hidden hop.
Every escalation reaches somebody who can read a SIP trace and change a routing policy. No tiered script, no handoff queue, no "have you tried restarting the SBC".
Licensing, data residency and fraud controls are designed into the platform per region — not bolted on when a procurement questionnaire arrives.
A leadership team drawn from carrier operations, security engineering and enterprise networking — all of whom have carried a pager.
